His album "Small Town" debuted at #2 on Billboard, and "Fathers & Sons" dominated the Bluegrass Unlimited charts for over a year, spawning three #1 singles. Mike’s band includes his son James Michael Mitchell on guitar and fiddle, Jarod Houseman, upright bass and Sydney Christian on mandolin and vocals
